- Riding lessons and trail rides are $75 each per person. The minimum age requirement is 5 years old.
- 📞Before scheduling an appointment for lessons or trail rides, please call Karen first (562) 818-7930.
- Lessons and trail rides are 60 minutes, including grooming and tacking up
- Each rider will need to make their own appointment so we know how many horses are needed.
- Please include the number of people in your party, and each rider's height, weight, and experience so we can pair them up with the appropriate horse. For children, please include their age.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to your lesson to get prepared.
- Proper riding attire is required, such as boots or sneakers and long pants.
- Riding helmets will be provided
- Liability Form: Please bring completed form with you on your 1st visit.
- Late Arrivals - Please be on time for your appointment. If you are late, it will reduce your time in the saddle.
- Cancellation Policy: Because we reserve your horse and instructor specifically for you, all bookings are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we will happily issue a credit that can be used within 30 days. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, are not eligible for credit.
🐎✨ Rider Level Descriptions
Beginner Rider
A beginner rider has little to no experience with horses.
They may be riding for the first time or have ridden a few times.
This level focuses on building comfort, confidence, and basic control in the saddle.
Beginners:

Need assistance mounting and dismounting

Are learning balance, posture, and steering

Walk only, and may begin learning to trot

Require close supervision and guidance
Intermediate Rider
An intermediate rider has consistent experience and can control a horse at more than one gait.
This level focuses on refining skills and improving control at multiple gaits.
Intermediate riders:

Can independently walk and trot

Are learning or able to canter with control

Can steer, stop, and maneuver confidently

Maintain balance in the saddle without assistance

Understand basic horse behavior and safety
Experienced / Advanced Rider
An experienced rider has current extensive time in the saddle and can confidently handle a variety of horses and situations.
This level focuses on skill refinement, precision, and advanced techniques both in and out of the arena.
Experienced riders:

Ride regularly and comfortably walk, trot, and canter

Have strong balance, posture, and control at all gaits

Can handle responsive or more energetic horses

Are comfortable riding outside the arena (trails, obstacles, or variable terrain)

Understand horse behavior, cues, and safety practices
