We offer Multipul fun day camps per year – Spring Day Camp, Summer Day Camp and Winter Day Camp! This is a horse day camp that takes place during the week for children ages 5-18 where they can learn all about horses while also gaining or strengthening their skills!
Safety, fun and skill advancement are our top priorities!
SUMMER CAMP 2024
Big Bear City
3 days of horse fun before school starts.
What To Bring:
- Pack a sack lunch and make sure to bring water!
- Wear tennis shoes or riding boots.
- Wear long jeans or riding breeches.
- Wear a t-shirt, and bring a jacket just in case!
- We will provide ASTM-SEI certified helmets.
- You may bring your own ASTM-SEI certified helmet.
- Bring sunscreen.
Activities Include:
- Outdoor activities and adventures
- Teaching young riders the basics of horse care, from the hoof up.
- Playing games with the horses and other youth!
- Arts and Crafts!
- Learn about the different breeds and colors of horses!
- Learn about horse anatomy and general healthcare.
- Learn to walk, jog, and lope a horse, based on rider’s ability.
- Learn how to be more confident around horses of all sizes.
- Horsemanship skills.
- Grooming and bathing horses.
- Saddling and Bridling.
EXTRA NOTES:
- Camps take place Tuesday-Thursday from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
- Minimum of 6 kids must sign up for the class.
- Refunds will be given if camp is cancelled.
- Horses will be matched to the youth based on ability and experience.
- ASTM-SEI certified helmets will be provided.
- NO refunds for absences.
- No make ups for late arrivals.
Rates:
- $300 for a 3 day week camp – full amount due on or before the first day of camp.
- A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required
